Courtney Mann is the Director of the firm’s plan implementation services. He specializes in new business development, plan design, and plan implementation for the firm.

In addition to assisting in plan administration, Courtney’s practice focuses on all aspects of retirement plan implementation. Acting as the client advocate, he directs the client through the adoption of plan documents and with all required employee communications, educational materials, and enrollment meetings. Courtney also assists in working with the client’s accountants and investment advisors in establishing the plan’s investment policy statement and in the selection of fund managers and investment portfolios to be used on institutional record-keeping platforms and on the firm’s open-architecture system. He also provides guidance with respect to the client’s fiduciary responsibility to act in concert with the regulations established by the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service.

A graduate of Stanford University, Courtney holds a B.A. in Economics, a minor in Communications, and an M.A. in Organizational Behavior. He brings to the firm a diverse background with career experience in human resources and management consulting; sales, marketing, and business development; software and information technology; and journalism. Courtney has consulted with companies such as Borden, Inc. and Sony on compensation and organizational structure, designed proprietary software to streamline HR processes, and played an instrumental role in financial modeling and fundraising for start-up businesses and projects across several industries. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
